L’Alliance Révision is the Luxembourg member of IGAF Worldwide, an association of independent, autonomous accounting firms. IGAF Worldwide is one of the largest associations of independent public accounting firms in the world. Members are all local and regional firms of Certified Public Accountants, Chartered Accountants, or their professional equivalents in non-English speaking countries.
IGAF Worldwide members are selected based on exacting requirements for size, reputation, quality of practice, diverse technical capabilities and geographic location.
These requirements must be met not only to gain admission but also to retain membership. Periodic inspections assure that members continue to meet membership requirements.
IGAF Worldwide provides its members with the strength and capabilities of a large, worldwide organization with diverse technical skills and geographic representation. Members exchange technical advice and assistance in every service performed by the profession. Active participation in IGAF Worldwide complements in-house expertise, provides specialized staff education and technical support and ensures a level of quality control that meets and exceeds the standards of the accounting profession.
IGAF Worldwide was founded in 1977 by ten firms in the United States and Canada. Since that time, the organization has grown to more than 132 firms with more than 355 offices in 59 countries around the world. The member firms have over 900 partners and more than 7,300 professionals generating approximately $495,000,000 in annual revenues.
